Kota Sasazawa (Yutaro Furutachi) works at a frozen foods manufacturing plant. When he was middle school student, he was friends with a boy named Shinji. They loved and admired Sennichi Amano (Shizuka Ishibashi). One day, Shinji died in an car accident, protecting Sennichi Amano from the accident. 10 years later, Kota Sasazawa happens to meet Sennichi Amano again.
Based on novel "Ichigo no Uta" by screenwriter Yoshikazu Okada & musician-actor Kazunobu Mineta (published May, 2018 by Asahi Shimbun Publications Inc.). The novel is based on 7 songs by Kazunobu Mineta's band Ging Nang Boyz ("Hyoryu Kyoshitsu," "Tokyo," "Aishiterutte Yutteyone," "Poadamu," "Ginga Tetsudo no Yoru," "Moshimo Kimi ga Naku Nara ba" and "Koi wa Eien").
Theme song is "Ichigo no Uta" by punk rock band "Ging Nang Boyz." Kazunobu Mineta, who is a member of punk rock band "Ging Nang Boyz," wrote the song for the movie.
